Senior Care Volunteer Network would like to acknowledge the generous in-kind donation of your services in regards to a senior move this past weekend.

Your assistance provided a senior care receiver in our program the opportunity to move successfully from one apartment to another in Crystal Lake. Despite the snowstorm on Sunday, February 1, the move was completed on time and without any worries for the senior.

With the assistance of community partners such as you, we are able to fulfill our mission to help seniors in the McHenry County area. Many of our seniors would not be able to remain in their own homes without the help they receive from their community.

Dear Mitch,

We are so thrilled with the results of the clean-out services and estate sales that you and your team at Old Towne Estate Sales recently provided for us. After the death of our dad, we were so overwhelmed with the prospect of cleaning out the home he and out mother had lived in since 1959. As you well know, Mom was a packrat and the house was full to the brim – bedrooms, family room, basement, garage – all to the rafters. It seemed as if nothing had been discarded since the fifties, and she had added tons of more stuff through the years. What would have taken our family over a year to clean out, your marvelous team managed to do in just over a week! It was miraculous! You and your crew explained things every step of the way, worked like the dickens, and made the experience a happy one, even in the face of the overwhelming task of it all. The home is now clean and empty, the items that did not sell went to some wonderful charities, and we are so pleased.

We were also pleasantly surprised with the amount of money the estate sale brought in, as it was more than we had anticipated. Everything was well organized and advertised, and went very smoothly. We appreciated the effort you took in having our more unusual items appraised as well. We cannot thank you enough for all you did for us during a very difficult time. We also want to commend your entire crew for their hard working attitude, their cheerfulness, and their reliability. You guys make a great team! Old Towne Estate & Antique Sales did an AMAZING job clearing out the contents of our 6,000 sq ft home within 2 weeks of initial contacting them!! Mitch and his employees were professional every step of the sale. We literally had hundreds of people through our home over the 3 day sale all because of Mitch’s knowledge and network of followers!! We could NEVER had done a 30 day closing with out their help!! There are many nefarious companies out there claiming to be estate sale companies but Old Towne is NOT one of them!! HIGHLY recommend this company!!!!

Old Towne Estate Sales is a great company if need to hand over your trust and belongings to someone and know the will take care of them and also You. Its hard enough loosing someone then going thru and having to part with their partings Mitch makes it very understanding and respectable. Not only does Mitch (owner) Personally come out and see what he can do for you, but you feel the stress is lifted off you and he takes care of you along the way. He is a very knowledgeable and fair man. I felt no pressure just guidance. His sale was set up beautifully and is very fair to both to his clients and guests.
